Tech Ledger is an independent publication covering artificial intelligence, computing hardware, digital infrastructure and the policy questions that surround them. We write for readers who want to understand how technology works and what it costs, not for readers looking for product promotion.

What we cover

Our reporting falls into four areas. AI and machine learning, including how models are built, evaluated and deployed. Hardware, from chip design and packaging to the physical systems that run workloads. Infrastructure, covering data centres, networks and energy. And policy, where regulation, licensing and standards shape what is possible.

We publish analysis and explainers rather than breaking news. When we cover an announcement, our interest is in what it means in practice and what remains unproven.

How we work

We cite primary sources wherever possible, including technical papers, regulatory filings, official documentation and company statements. Links to those sources appear within our articles so readers can check our reasoning.

We do not accept payment for coverage, and we do not publish sponsored articles presented as editorial. Where we describe a company’s product, we say whether the information comes from the company, from independent testing or from documentation.

Corrections

We make mistakes. When we learn that something we published is inaccurate, we correct it and note the change. If you believe an article contains an error, contact us with the specific claim and a source, and we will review it.

Independence and funding

The site is supported by advertising and by readers. Advertising is labelled and is not permitted to influence editorial decisions. Advertisers do not see articles before publication and cannot request changes to them.
